Ca Mau: Promoting the integration of Electronic Health Book on VNeID application in the health system

On the morning of October 23, 2025, the Department of Health organized a Conference to implement Directive 07/CT-BYT, dated October 1, 2025 of the Ministry of Health and the Campaign "Integrating Electronic Health Book (SSKĐT) on VNeID application" in the health system in Ca Mau province. The conference was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Tan Luc, Deputy Director of the Department of Health and private health units in Ca Mau province.

At the conference, delegates were informed of the content of Directive 07/CT-BYT of the Ministry of Health on strengthening management and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment activities at medical examination and treatment facilities; Plan No. 045/KH-UBND, dated August 11, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee, implementing the Campaign "Integrating SSKĐT on VNeID application" in Ca Mau province (2nd time); Plan No. 112/KH-SYT of the Department of Health implementing Plan No. 045/KH-UBND.

The goal of the implementation plan is that 100% of civil servants, public employees, and workers in the health sector in Ca Mau province integrate electronic health records on the VNeID application; at the same time, mobilize relatives to participate in the implementation; at least 40% of people when coming to medical examination and treatment facilities in the province are guided and supported to integrate electronic health records on the VNeID application. The implementation time is extended to November 15, 2025 because the progress has not been achieved as planned.

The conference aims to review the effectiveness of the campaign implementation, acknowledge the difficulties and obstacles of medical units and propose solutions. Over the implementation period, some units still face many difficulties, the rate of patients using SSKĐT on the VNeID application when coming to see a doctor or get treatment is still low due to many objective reasons: not using smartphones, VNeID accounts not yet integrated with level 2, the elderly forget their passwords...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tan Luc emphasized: "Promoting the integration of SSKĐT on VNeID is an important step in digital transformation of healthcare, helping to improve the quality of healthcare, reduce paperwork, save time and costs for people, contributing to building a modern, digital and more people-friendly healthcare sector in Ca Mau ."

The synchronous deployment of this utility is expected to bring about a clear change in health management and digital transformation of healthcare in Ca Mau province, aiming at the goal of building a smart, modern and people-friendly healthcare system.
