Promoting the implementation of behavioral criteria in the family will consolidate and enhance legal awareness and knowledge, promote morality, conscience, and responsibility of each person to themselves, their family, the community, and society, contributing positively to the cause of building and developing the homeland and country to become increasingly rich and civilized.

The existence and development of a family depends on many factors, including the close relationships between members. Relationships in the family are based on the behavior between family members. Especially the basic relationships between family members, including: Husband and wife; parents, grandparents and children, grandchildren; brothers, sisters. A strong, close relationship between members is a condition to ensure that the family overcomes difficulties and challenges in life.

Under the negative impact of the market mechanism in the process of industrialization, modernization and international integration, the relationship between family members has shown signs of becoming increasingly loose; some moral values: filial piety, loyalty... have degraded, causing many Vietnamese families to face the risk of instability and breakup, directly affecting the sustainable happiness of the family. Continuing to promote the implementation of the Strategy "Developing Vietnamese families to 2020, vision 2030", on January 28, 2022, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 224/QD-BVHTTDL on the set of criteria for family conduct with the aim of identifying and gradually bringing into life the standards of ethical values ​​and culture of Vietnamese people in the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration. At the same time, strengthen legal awareness, promote morality, conscience, and responsibility of each person to themselves, their family, community, society, and country; prevent moral degradation in the family and society. Raise awareness of building and maintaining sustainable happiness in each family, inspire love, share responsibility among family members in building a prosperous, progressive, happy, civilized family, as a foundation for building a happy community, a prosperous, happy nation. This set of criteria is popularized and applied to all Vietnamese families and family members, including those who are connected by marriage, blood relationship, or fostering relationship.

In addition to the general criteria for family conduct including: "Respect, equality, love, sharing". The set of criteria sets out specific criteria for family relationships. Specifically, between husband and wife, there must be loyalty and affection. Husband and wife together build a sustainable marriage, not violating the monogamous marriage regime. Love, care, look after, and help each other; share household chores, have responsibility for raising children, doing housework, and contributing financially. Create conditions to help each other choose a career, study, improve qualifications, participate in political , economic, cultural, and social activities...

Criteria for parents' behavior towards their children, grandparents' behavior towards their grandchildren according to the principle of "Exemplary, loving". Parents and grandparents set a good example for their children and grandchildren in their gestures, actions and words. Pass on traditional values ​​and life experiences to their children and grandchildren, educate and encourage them to practice a cultural lifestyle, civic awareness, maintain family traditions and customs... Criteria for children's behavior towards their parents, grandchildren and grandparents: Respectful, polite, filial to grandparents and parents; loving, caring, sharing feelings and wishes with parents and family members. Studying, practicing, maintaining family traditions... Siblings in the family must be harmonious and sharing. Siblings respect each other and advise each other on good and right things. Share common work in the family, help each other in times of difficulty and misfortune...

Currently, many localities in the province have also deployed activities to register for the implementation of the set of criteria for behavior in the family associated with building the title of cultural family and evaluating and rewarding the title of cultural family in the locality.
