The 1st Congress of the Youth Union of the Department of Health

On the afternoon of October 24, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Department of Health held its first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

Delegates presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Department of Health for the 2025-2030 term.

The Youth Union of the Department of Health has 6 affiliated branches with 121 members. During the past term, the Union has promoted the vanguard spirit of youth to participate in implementing the political tasks of the unit; actively proposed, undertaken, and implemented youth projects and tasks integrated into professional political tasks, ensuring the successful completion of the goals and targets in the annual Youth Union and youth movement work plan.

In particular, volunteer movements have contributed to socio -economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, eradication of backward customs, and improvement of people's spiritual life. Youth Unions at all levels have implemented over 20 programs of medical examination and treatment, and free medicine distribution to more than 10,000 people and students. Sex education programs, anti-child marriage, consanguineous marriage, and HIV/AIDS prevention organized by Youth Unions at all levels have equipped young people with much necessary knowledge and skills.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Youth Union of the Department of Health has set out a number of key tasks such as: Strive for 100% of the staff to be youth union members to complete their professional tasks or more every year, of which 20% will complete their professional tasks excellently; enthusiastically respond to scientific research activities; participate in the work of caring for teenagers and children, helping students in difficult circumstances; fully participate in programs launched and implemented by the industry, units, and superior Unions.

At the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Department of Health for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 12 comrades, was introduced and delegates were elected to attend the higher-level congress.
