Rewarding 7 groups and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing electronic medical records

The Department of Health said that after the merger, the health sector of Dak Lak province is managing 36 public medical facilities with beds and 11 non-public hospitals.

As of the end of September 2025, all 47/47 medical examination and treatment facilities in the province had implemented electronic medical records, of which 43 units had published their electronic medical records on the Ministry of Health's website.

The Dak Lak Department of Health commended the collectives that achieved outstanding results in the implementation of electronic medical records.

According to Pham Minh Huu, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, the implementation of electronic medical records is an important step in the digital transformation of healthcare, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, reducing administrative procedures, saving time for people, and increasing management efficiency at healthcare facilities.

Recognizing the importance of electronic medical records, the Department of Health, under the close guidance of the Ministry of Health and with the support of the Provincial People's Committee, has closely coordinated with relevant units to implement electronic medical records in a synchronized manner, suitable to the actual conditions of each medical facility. This includes focusing on selecting software that complies with the regulations of the Ministry of Health, providing professional training for medical staff, and gradually changing traditional work habits to the application of information technology.

Healthcare units in the province have proactively overcome difficulties and actively coordinated the implementation, gradually bringing the electronic medical record system into effective operation. In the coming time, the Department of Health will direct units to continue reviewing and improving the technological infrastructure, strengthening training, and supervising implementation to ensure progress and quality in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.

Recognizing the outstanding efforts and achievements in the implementation of electronic medical records, at the conference, the Department of Health awarded commendations to collectives and individuals who had excelled in carrying out their duties.

Specifically, the seven commended organizations include: Phu Yen Eye Hospital, Phu Yen Traditional Medicine Hospital, Buon Ma Thuot General Hospital, Son Hoa Medical Center, Ea Kar Medical Center, Krong Pac Medical Center, and Buon Ma Thuot University Medical Center.

In addition, five outstanding individuals were also commended, including: Mr. Tran Anh Dung, Director of Phu Yen General Hospital; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh, Director of the 333 Regional General Hospital; Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan, Director of Song Hinh Medical Center; Ms. Le Thi Thuy, Director of M'Drắk Medical Center; and Mr. Vo Luong Vu, specialist at the Office of the Department of Health.
