Rewarding 7 groups and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing electronic medical records

The Department of Health said that after the merger, the health sector of Dak Lak province is managing 36 public medical facilities with beds and 11 non-public hospitals.

By the end of September 2025, the whole province had 47/47 medical examination and treatment facilities implementing electronic medical records, of which 43 units had published electronic medical records on the Ministry of Health's electronic information portal.

Collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing electronic medical records were commended by Dak Lak Department of Health .

Deputy Director of the Department of Health Pham Minh Huu said that the implementation of electronic medical records is an important step in the digital transformation roadmap of healthcare, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, reducing administrative procedures, saving time for people and increasing management efficiency at medical facilities.

Understanding the importance of electronic medical records, in recent times, with the close direction of the Ministry of Health and the support of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Health has closely coordinated with relevant units to deploy electronic medical records in a synchronous manner, suitable to the actual conditions of each medical facility. In particular, focusing on selecting software that meets the regulations of the Ministry of Health, providing professional training for medical staff, and gradually changing traditional working habits to applying information technology.

Medical units in the province have proactively overcome difficulties, actively coordinated implementation, and gradually put the electronic medical records system into effective operation. In the coming time, the Department of Health will direct units to continue reviewing and perfecting technology infrastructure, strengthening training, monitoring implementation, ensuring progress and quality in accordance with the Ministry of Health's instructions.

In recognition of the efforts and outstanding achievements in the implementation of electronic medical records, at the conference, the Department of Health commended groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in performing their duties.

Specifically, 7 collectives were commended including: Phu Yen Eye Hospital, Phu Yen Traditional Medicine Hospital, Buon Ma Thuot General Hospital, Son Hoa Medical Center, Ea Kar Medical Center, Krong Pac Medical Center and Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital.

In addition, five outstanding individuals were also awarded, including: Mr. Tran Anh Dung, Director of Phu Yen General Hospital; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh, Director of Regional General Hospital 333; Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan, Director of Song Hinh Medical Center; Ms. Le Thi Thuy, Director of M'Drak Medical Center; and Mr. Vo Luong Vu, specialist of the Department of Health Office.
