Ea Ktur: Over 3,800 poor and near-poor households and policy beneficiaries received preferential loans.

According to the People's Committee of Ea Ktur commune, the commune has implemented many comprehensive solutions to support poverty reduction in recent times, contributing to improving the lives of people in the area.

One of the highlights is the preferential credit policy, with 3,880 poor and near-poor households and policy beneficiaries receiving loans, totaling over 147 billion VND disbursed.

In addition to providing financial support, Ea Ktur commune also focuses on improving people's production knowledge through agricultural, forestry, and fisheries extension programs. Training courses on sustainable durian, coffee, and pepper cultivation techniques are regularly organized, attracting approximately 550 farmers.

In order to create more jobs and increase income for rural workers, vocational training has also been actively promoted by the commune. The locality organized a cattle farming training course for 35 workers in Kram hamlet with a total cost of 103 million VND.

Along with production solutions, the commune also fully implements social welfare policies, ensuring that people have access to basic services. The commune has issued health insurance cards to 2,352 people, including 832 people from poor and near-poor households; and provided electricity subsidies to 280 poor and policy-beneficiary households in the first six months of the year with a total budget of over 102 million VND.

In the field of education , the commune continues to effectively implement policies supporting students, with 126 students receiving tuition fee exemptions and reductions, as well as financial assistance for learning expenses, in accordance with Government Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP dated August 27, 2021, totaling over 720 million VND.

Through the synchronized implementation of various solutions, Ea Ktur commune is gradually improving the quality of life for its people, aiming for sustainable poverty reduction and stable socio -economic development.
