Before participating in the program I! Vietnamese People to raise funds to support people in flood-affected areas, taking place on October 29 in Ho Chi Minh City, singer Do Hoang Hiep shared many sincere stories about his journey of "revival" in music , as well as about his wife, the strong support system that has always quietly accompanied him on every journey.
First, the male singer excitedly shared the reason for participating in the program I! Vietnamese People , a charity music night gathering famous artists from "Gia Toc Anh Tai" to raise funds to support people in flood-affected areas.
“I accepted to participate in the concert without receiving any salary because this is a charity program, gathering artists to join hands to help our compatriots. For me, being able to contribute to spreading love and supporting those in difficulty is more important than any remuneration,” he said.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, singer Do Hoang Hiep affirmed the role of his wife in his music career. “My wife is not only the rear, but also the greatest spiritual support,” he said.
The male singer confided that when he went through a period of many changes in his artistic career and his faith was shaken, his wife was always by his side, silently taking care of the family and believing in him.
Specifically, Do Hoang Hiep became a solo singer at the age of 39, when he did not have many songs of his own. This was not an easy decision, forcing him to face a big challenge when embarking on the journey of "rebirth from zero".
“There were days when I didn't dare look back at myself. My wife reminded me that I am a valuable person, I just need to get up and continue,” Do Hoang Hiep confided.
Restarting a career at the age of U40 is not easy, but Do Hoang Hiep chose to move forward with gratitude. “I am no longer young enough to take risks, but not old enough to stop. I have learned to adapt, invest more seriously, and understand the audience better,” he shared.

He admitted that there were times when he felt stuck and confused, especially after having had "had and lost" his career.
At that time, he was lucky to have his family's company: "Remembering, there were times when I sat alone in the middle of the night with dozens of questions in my head, with hundreds of messy things, my wife and children were the two guiding lights, guiding me towards the light.
My wife doesn’t give me much advice, sometimes just a warm voice, a gentle look, or a smile is also a great source of motivation for me to overcome everything. It sounds simple, but for someone who has fallen, that is the most precious thing.”
For a busy artist who often has to travel far from home for work, maintaining family happiness is not easy.
The male singer shared his secret: “We also have disagreements, but we always know when to stop so as not to hurt each other. I choose to stay silent when necessary, and she is more tactful, knowing when to speak and when to listen. We learned that love is not just about sweet words, but also knowing when to stop.”

Regarding family finances, he shared: “I am the one who earns money, but my wife is the one who keeps it. She manages it smartly, knows how to balance spending and saving. We always discuss big decisions like buying a house or a car together. Family is a consensus, there is no such thing as one person having more “power” than another.”
Besides being busy with shows, the male singer likes to do housework himself, seeing it as joy and a source of creative inspiration.
He believes: “For me, washing dishes, cooking, and listening to music with my wife is a simple yet precious happiness. The less time I spend with my family, the more quality it must be. My family is where I “recharge” my batteries when I am exhausted. A hug, a small word from my wife, or a smile from my son is enough to give me the energy to keep going.”
In raising children, the couple agree on the point of view of "raising children with independence and kindness", equipping them with the best foundation to enter life.
Do Hoang Hiep also believes that having a family does not make him weak in showbiz. He said: “Today’s audiences are very sophisticated. They love artists for their talent and personality, not for their marital status. I am happy because Hat Dau FC always loves and cares not only for me but also for my small family.”
At the age of U40, Do Hoang Hiep still continues to experiment with different music genres. “I consider the transition between Pop, Ballad, R&B as a natural evolution of the profession. I don’t want to be confined to one image,” he confided.

Soon, Do Hoang Hiep will release the single Cham , a song about love and happiness.
When asked about competition with young singers, Do Hoang Hiep calmly said: “I am not afraid. Each person has their own strengths and the audience always appreciates honesty. I face it by practicing, constantly learning and bringing products with depth, something that young people sometimes do not have time to have.”
I! Vietnamese is not only a music night, but also a strong affirmation of solidarity, humanity and national pride. In which, music becomes a thread of love connecting Vietnamese hearts.
The program emphasizes the spirit of mutual love, as all revenue from ticket sales (after deducting taxes and management costs), along with contributions from philanthropists and accompanying units, will be transferred to people in flood-affected areas through the fund of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front .
