The exhibition is an opportunity for artists to look back on a year of creativity, exchange experiences and introduce to the public works that reflect social life through an artistic perspective. This is also an opportunity for young artists to rub shoulders, learn and continue the tradition of the city's fine arts.

Prof. Dr., sculptor Nguyen Xuan Tien, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, said that this year's exhibition displays the results of 9 creative camps in many provinces and cities across the country, where artists directly recorded the breath of life, landscapes and local people to transform them into works rich in emotion and creativity. These field trips are not only a journey to find creative materials but also contribute to broadening the vision, connecting Ho Chi Minh City artists with contemporary social life.
Lacquer painting "In the Season" by author Nguyen Dinh Ho, received category A creative investment.
"In the rich exhibition space, lacquer material creates a prominent mark, clearly showing a unique style, mastering the material, affirming the development of the city's fine arts. Many works use a dark color palette, typical red and gold tones but have a modern feel, evoking depth of emotions and contemporary thinking," commented Prof. Dr. Xuan Tien.
This year's exhibition has a huge increase in the number of works on display, with a variety of genres and creative materials.

Besides lacquer, other materials such as oil paint, acrylic, wood carving, sculpture are also diversely expressed, reflecting the spirit of continuous exploration and creativity of the artist. According to artist Bui Duc Tien, representative of the Arts Council, to develop further, each artist needs to invest more in their personal creative path, thereby finding something unique and new. Young artists today have not yet fully exploited their creative potential; there needs to be a stronger spirit of innovation so that the previous generation can feel secure about the future of the city's fine arts.
