Singer Duy Manh contributes to raising funds to support Cuba

The painting created by artist Doan Nguyen was successfully auctioned by singer Duy Manh (from Hai Phong) for 50 million VND to support the Cuban people.

The painting by Doan Nguyen carries the meaning of protecting peace in the sky and seas of Vietnam.

To celebrate National Day September 2, artist Doan Nguyen created a painting of the national flag with images of fighter planes, carrying the message of protecting peace in the sky and seas of Vietnam.

The painting was later posted by singer Duy Manh on his personal page for auction to support the Cuban people.

Just one hour after singer Duy Manh posted the auction, the painting was bought by a friend of his for 50 million VND. The entire amount was donated by the singer to support the Cuban people.

The male singer transferred the money from the painting auction to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross to support the Cuban people.

Previously, in the live show "Anh Em Ket Doan 3" on August 8, the painting "A soldier holding a child through the storm" given to Duy Manh by artist Doan Nguyen was also auctioned to raise funds to support Son La people affected by floods.

Singer Duy Manh and painter Doan Nguyen are close friends.

Singer Duy Manh, born in 1975, from Hai Phong, is a person who regularly does charity work and condemns acts of profiteering from charity. The male singer became famous in 2005 with his debut album "Love is the ocean" and has been active in the arts ever since.

At the end of July, the male singer also donated 1 billion VND and sent it to the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to help people affected by natural disasters.
