Continuing the spirit of the song "Life of Gambling" , singer Duy Manh released the song "Stop it, My Dear" criticizing football betting and cockfighting during the European Football Championship (EURO).

The rap song was written by Duy Manh with the aim of warning gambling addicts. He advised them to enjoy the healthy joy of football, instead of getting lost in risky bets. His lyrics were inspired by real life stories around him.

The rap lyrics are sarcastic and humorous: "I sincerely advise you/ My little brother/ Was very handsome before/ But now he looks very foolish/ Has he ever played any sport/ At night he's like a ghost/ He's always wandering around/ It affects his health/ Please stop, baby."

Duy Manh's release of a rap song instead of a pop song has attracted attention. Previously, he contributed his rap voice to the song "Come and Pick Me Up" by singer Cam's daughter, which received many positive reactions.

His new song uses modern musical materials and a vibrant rhythm. Having worked with Duy Manh on previous products, the music producer duo RNM Long Pham and Minh Maximum created catchy music, highlighting the male singer's "strange" rap voice.

The MV has strong colors, contrasting with the two main tones of red and black. Many metaphorical scenes are realized by 3D techniques. In the MV, Duy Manh transforms into two images: one is shiny and flashy, the other is bruised and austere - expressing the contrast between joy and tragedy brought about by gambling.

Regarding the jujube fruit that constantly appears in rap verses and MVs, Duy Manh said the original song was called "Eat the jujube, baby" instead of "Please stop, baby" .

"My wife often feeds me jujubes to improve my health, so I borrowed it to remind everyone to take care of themselves. I didn't intend to film a music video, but when the EURO season came, I saw many brothers eagerly 'catching the bet'. Therefore, I changed the name and some sentences in the rap lyrics with the hope of turning it into a warning," according to 7X.

Duy Manh revealed about 'Jujube' and the 'joke' that made his wife panic... Duy Manh revealed that he will release a humorous rap song called "Jujube" when the EURO 2024 finals take place, telling the audience not to participate in gambling.
