Nearly a month after returning from China 's music show The Next Stage, singer-songwriter LyLy has been working hard to release the EP LoveLy , which includes five songs she composed herself.
Launching LoveLy on the evening of October 10, LyLy shared more with the press about the process of participating in the Chinese show, as well as her thoughts on singers having to sing live well.
LyLy shed tears while participating in The Next Stage
The Next Stage 2023 is a reality TV show in China, gathering 27 artists from Asian countries. LyLy is the only Vietnamese contestant participating in the show this year. The contestants will have quite intense team formation and elimination rounds.
In addition to the contestants, the program brings together famous advisors such as Ella, Chau Tham, Vuong Gia Nhi, NingNing...

In one episode, singer NingNing - a member of Korean girl group aespa - advised LyLy on how to handle a wardrobe malfunction on stage. After her journey at The Next Stage, LyLy stopped in the top 13.
Recalling her memories of participating in the program, LyLy said she has no regrets because it is difficult to experience this again.
"During that time, there were tears shed because of the pressure.
The competition in China was different from all the competitions I had participated in in Vietnam. I missed home and had a lot of work to do at home, but I still had to focus on the competition.
There are times when I feel very pressured, not knowing what to do. But on a more positive note, I feel lucky to be able to do my job and make money from it.
I don't complain and keep trying" - LyLy shared at the press conference.
'Singers must know how to sing live'
Her colleague who participated in The Next Stage, male singer Sunny Lukas, has become close to her and flew to Vietnam this time to support her in releasing her new product.
At the event, LyLy also spontaneously sang live with Sunny Lukas the song Golden Hour - the song they both chose to perform together in the program The Next Stage.
When asked about the singer's live singing ability, LyLy affirmed: "Singers must know how to sing live, that is something that no one can deny.
As everyone can see, this is the time when vocalists reign supreme because talented singers are always loved by the audience, and with good performance ability, it will be even more complete.
Everything is important, so no matter which path an artist decides to take, they must always cultivate and practice to have the best skills possible."
LyLy's EP LoveLy includes the songs "Nhi dong", "Cho em xin loi di ma", "Tinh yeu so cute", "Why did you accept" and "After the rain, the sky is bright". The songs follow a unified emotional flow when the girl finds love, happiness, hurt, break up and heals herself.
LyLy's real name is Nguyen Hoang Ly, born in 1996. She is considered a talented musician in creating hits for young singers such as: Where does your house live , Black ice without sugar, Why haven't you come home yet (Amee); It's okay, I'm here (Suni Ha Linh), Missing you (Phuong Ly)...
LyLy herself also composed some of her own hits such as 24h, Sweet Words, Don't Cause Love If You Don't Love...
