Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Bui Van Tham informed about the operation and use of works sponsored by the Community Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention , with a total cost of more than 7,663 billion VND. At the same time, there were recommendations for the Community Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention to sponsor for the next period.

Among them, projects supported by the Community Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention have brought about practical results, contributing to improving the capacity of natural disaster prevention in the province.

However, the situation of drought, salinity, landslides, subsidence, and high tides is increasing and becoming more complicated. The province hopes that the Community Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention will pay attention to the recommendations and proposals made at the meeting.

After listening to the opinions of the provincial departments, branches, and socio-political organizations, Mr. Cao Duc Phat - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of the Community Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention, together with the members of the delegation, highly appreciated the awareness, spirit, and determination of the province in implementing the works and projects sponsored by the Community Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention .

When the projects are completed, they are put into operation, used and managed very effectively. The fund's sponsors want to accurately evaluate the effectiveness of each invested project. On that basis, the sponsors will support investment costs for projects and works in the direction of early warning and early action to reduce damage. High-tech investment predicts many types of natural disasters. To act early, the province is interested in promoting the disaster prevention shock team.

On this occasion, the working group of the Community Disaster Prevention Fund visited and surveyed the swimming pool of Tam Phuoc Primary School, Tam Phuoc Commune, Chau Thanh District; Phu Duc Water Plant, Phu Duc Commune, Chau Thanh District; visited some households receiving support from the Project to support revolving capital for poor women in Phu My Commune, Mo Cay Bac District; and Giao Hoa salinity measuring station, Long Dinh Commune, Binh Dai District.
