According to the police, from May to June every year (the period when students are "sprinting" to prepare for the high school graduation exam) is the time when online fraud related to exams shows signs of increasing.
Fraudsters are increasingly sophisticated and professional. They build detailed scenarios, use voice and image impersonation technology, create websites, and branded messages (brandnames) identical to those of authorities and schools to lure victims to appropriate money, illegally collect sensitive personal data, and pose many complex risks to security and order in the province.
Some common scams that subjects often use during exam season are: selling "real exam questions", "100% accurate answers"; opening "ghost" online exam preparation courses; fraudulently "raising scores", "buying places" to enter university; impersonatingeducation officials, school staff to "support" with application and review...

The provincial police recommend that parents and students equip themselves with the necessary "shields": absolutely do not believe in "shortcuts"; carefully verify all information (when receiving any suspicious information, contact the homeroom teacher, school board or hotline of educational agencies directly for verification); absolutely keep personal information confidential (do not provide Citizen Identification number, date of birth, phone number, home address, bank account information, OTP code to anyone via phone, text message, email if their identity and purpose have not been verified; be extremely careful when clicking on strange links, do not download attachments of unknown origin).
People need to be vigilant against unusual financial transactions (do not transfer money to strangers or unclear requests, regardless of the reason related to "completing documents", "depositing to hold a place", "buying VIP documents"); immediately report to the police if you discover or suspect signs of fraud; if you are unfortunate enough to become a victim, calmly collect all evidence (text messages, phone numbers, bank account information of the subject, transaction history...) and immediately report to the nearest police station for timely support.
