Final of the Non-Major English Olympic Competition of Nha Trang University

The contest, themed “Green Life, Future Thrives”, aims to raise awareness of environmental protection, encourage green lifestyles in the student community, and spread the mission of the young generation in building a sustainable future.

The final round had the participation of 5 teams selected from the preliminary round, each team consisted of 5 members from the school's faculties and institutes including: Institute of Aquaculture, Faculty of Accounting - Finance, Faculty of Tourism, Faculty of Food Technology, Faculty of Economics . The teams participated in 3 rounds: Greeting (introducing the team through performing arts such as: singing, dancing, short plays, animations...), knowledge test (answering English questions about environmental issues, climate change, green lifestyle, typical environmental protection activities at home and abroad); English speaking (each team presented a feasible, practical topic or project to contribute to environmental protection within the school or community) and answering questions from the judges.

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded first prize to the team from the Faculty of Economics, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, and 2 consolation prizes to the remaining teams.

The contest aims to create a useful academic playground for students to demonstrate their English skills, practice critical thinking, creativity, presentation skills, teamwork... Thereby promoting the spirit of learning and exchange among students throughout the school.
