The Tri Ton commune martyrs' cemetery currently has 1,185 graves, of which 823 are anonymous; some places have 974 graves, while others have 179 graves; there are 56 Khmer martyrs' graves...
In a solemn atmosphere, the leaders and delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs; offered flowers and incense; and paid tribute to revolutionary predecessors, heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, and families of those who had contributed blood and effort to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, and the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
* The delegation of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Phong commune, led by Party Secretary Nguyen Chi Thanh, visited and presented gifts to policy families and meritorious people in the commune, including: Mr. Nguyen Hong Quan, a war invalid with a 33% reduction in working capacity; Mr. Tran Van Quan, a meritorious person with a 41% - 60% reduction in working capacity; Mr. Dang Tan An, a meritorious person with a 21% - 40% reduction in working capacity; Ms. Huynh Thi Hieu, a 66% war invalid; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi, a relative of a martyr.
* The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Thuan commune organized two working delegations, led by Party Secretary Le Van Du, to visit and present gifts to Ms. Nguyen Thi Ba, residing in Kinh 1 hamlet, a war invalid with a 51% reduction in working capacity and a prisoner, and Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, residing in Don Dong hamlet, a war invalid with a 21% reduction in working capacity.

* Chairman of the People's Committee of O Lam Commune, Phan Thanh Luong, led a working delegation to visit and present gifts to typical policy families in the commune, including: Mrs. Neang Canh, a meritorious person, the child of martyr Chau Son; Mr. Huynh Chau Son, a 2/4 disabled soldier, with a disability rate of 61%; Mr. Trinh Van Minh, a 1/4 disabled soldier, with a disability rate of 82%, who had participated in the Cambodian battlefield.
* The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Chuc commune established delegations to visit and present gifts to 60 disadvantaged policy families in the commune. Along with words of greetings and encouragement, the delegation presented each family with a gift worth 500,000 VND.
