Van Gia port units donate to support soldiers in difficult circumstances

Responding to the Open Letter of Vinh Thuc Island Company (Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command), on June 8, Van Gia port units including Van Gia Port Customs, Border Guard Station, Port Authority, and Quarantine organized a fund-raising ceremony to support the family of soldier La Van Long who had just suffered a serious incident due to a fire.

Soldier La Van Long (born in 2002), Mong ethnic group, from Quang Trung commune, Hoa An district, Cao Bang province, is currently working at Vinh Thuc island company. Soldier Long's family has been poor for many years, living mainly on agriculture . Recently, while charging a flashlight, comrade Long's father accidentally caused an electrical short circuit, causing the house to burn down, causing heavy damage.

With the spirit of "mutual love", civil servants and employees of the units voluntarily donated more than 20 million VND to help soldier Long's family overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

This is not only a practical activity to support soldiers on duty at the frontline island of the Fatherland, but also demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and humanity of the force on duty at the Van Gia port border gate area.
