On the morning of June 10, in Viet Tri city, General Secretary To Lam chaired a working session with the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh provinces on the situation and results of the implementation of the Resolutions and Conclusions of the Central Committee; the arrangement of local apparatus (including mergers and consolidations); the work of stabilizing all aspects of the local situation, national defense and security; the leadership in implementing the task of economic growth in the locality; social security, poverty reduction, improving people's lives and local proposals and recommendations.

Also attending were Politburo members: Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung; Head of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security .
