How to calculate admission score based on Thinking Assessment score of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2025

In 2025, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will organize 3 Thinking Assessment rounds in January, March, and April. The exam will be held at the same time at 30 testing locations, including 17 testing locations in Hanoi and 13 testing locations in the following localities: Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Da Nang.

At the end of 3 TSA exams in 2025, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the exam scores, score distribution, and admission score calculation formula based on the Thinking Assessment (TSA) exam scores as follows:

In this formula: Bonus points are bonus points for candidates with foreign language certificates according to regulations of Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Priority points are priority points according to subjects and regions according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .

In case candidate A has a TSA score of 55.36; has a foreign language certificate of IELTS of 8.0 (7 points bonus), the candidate is in region 1 (+ 0.75 on a scale of 30), the admission score based on the TSA score will be:
