Keeping in mind Uncle Ho's teaching: "Great unity is the mission of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Front cadres are the ones who undertake that mission", as Chairman of the Ward Fatherland Front Committee, Comrade Thang, together with the members and the Front Working Committee of residential areas, has always been close to the people, listened to their opinions, and taken the legitimate rights and interests of the people as the goal to carry out emulation movements and campaigns launched by all levels.

As the central ward of Vinh Yen city, the people mainly work in business and services, so there are many potential risks of environmental pollution. To build a bright, green, clean and beautiful residential area, comrade Thang directly worked with the Front Work Committee of the residential groups to "go to every alley, knock on every door" to propagate and mobilize people to raise awareness of environmental protection, creating a clean and civilized urban appearance.

Through propaganda and mobilization, the people in the ward have clearly understood the role of environmental protection. Up to now, the Fatherland Front of the ward has mobilized the people to build 10 bright, green, clean and beautiful streets; regularly maintain and monitor 30 streets managed by mass organizations.

Mobilizing people to raise awareness of protecting and cleaning the roads and doing so every day, maintaining general cleaning every Friday. People are more aware of sorting waste at the source and dumping waste in the right place. Thereby, building a civilized urban area of ​​Ngo Quyen ward, a bright, green, clean, beautiful residential area...

Comrade Vu Manh Thang shared: In order to do a good job of mobilizing the masses and building a great solidarity bloc, front cadres must always be exemplary and enthusiastic in taking the lead in all work and emulation movements. I myself always actively study, improve my professional qualifications, and set an example so that when propagating and mobilizing, people will follow.

Implementing the policy of merging provinces, merging communes, and building a two-level local government, comrade Thang proactively coordinated with the Front Work Committee of residential groups to directly go to each house to propagate so that people understand the Party's major policies; actively participated in giving opinions and amending the Constitution.

Along with that, he actively and extensively deployed to organizations and people in the area to implement the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". Through the campaign, the culture of consuming Vietnamese goods has gradually been formed in the community; the awareness of the majority of consumers, businesses, and agencies about the meaning and importance of improving product quality, competitiveness of goods, and prioritizing the consumption of Vietnamese goods.

As the head of the Fatherland Front of the ward, comrade Thang has deployed propaganda in mass organizations, agencies, units and people to compete in "Solidarity and Creativity" to improve work efficiency, contributing to reforming administrative procedures in the political system.

He actively mobilized people to comply with village and community regulations; live and work according to the Constitution and laws; respond to the movement for national security; participate in preventing and combating crimes and social evils; maintain security, order and social safety; and not violate legal regulations on traffic safety and food safety.

To organize the front to always be a bridge between the Party Committee, the government and the people, every month, Comrade Thang participates in regular citizen receptions of the Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Committee. All legitimate opinions and recommendations of the people are compiled by him and submitted to the Party Committee and government for recommendations to all levels.

With his enthusiasm and active contributions to the work of the Front, comrade Vu Manh Thang has been awarded Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit by all levels and sectors for many years. In 2024, he was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Party Executive Committee for excellently completing his tasks for 5 consecutive years; worthy of being a typical example in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh .
