On November 18, on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front, now the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024), Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee Dang Khanh Toan and leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee visited and congratulated the officials working at the office of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
“This is the first time I have had the opportunity to visit and work with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee since being assigned by the Central Government to take up the task of Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee,” Mr. Dang Khanh Toan shared.
Recognizing that the work of the Front is "very important, sacred and meaningful", and that Front officials are always dedicated, close to and understanding of the people, Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee Dang Khanh Toan sent wishes of health, happiness and success to all Front officials at all levels in the province.
The Secretary of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee expressed his joy to know that, promoting tradition, the Fatherland Front of Nam Dinh province has been constantly making efforts, inheriting and innovating mobilization methods to continue building and maintaining the Great National Unity bloc.
In the work of participating in Party and government building, the provincial Fatherland Front has done a good job of organizing meetings with voters of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels, fully synthesizing voters' opinions and recommendations to send to competent authorities for resolution.
In the work of social supervision and criticism, the Front has taken the lead in proposing and organizing supervision of many topics.
In religious work, the Front has always clearly demonstrated itself as a common home uniting compatriots and religious dignitaries, a bridge between religious dignitaries and followers with the Party and the State; promoting and taking advantage of the prestige and role of religious dignitaries to mobilize followers to participate in patriotic emulation movements.
The campaign “Day for the Poor” launched by the Front has been responded to by many organizations, individuals and philanthropists, thereby building and repairing thousands of houses for poor households. Recently, the Provincial Fatherland Front has proactively called for and received the response of many classes of people in the whole province to support compatriots in and outside the province who suffered damage due to storm No. 3.
In particular, the provincial Fatherland Front has actively and effectively mobilized all classes of people in the province to participate in building new rural areas, with many good and creative ways, contributing to making Nam Dinh a bright spot of the whole country in the new rural construction movement.
The annual "National Great Unity Day" in residential areas is taken care of and maintained by the Provincial Front at all levels, directly by the CTMT Committee in residential areas, in an increasingly orderly and effective manner; becoming a forum for Party committees and authorities at all levels to meet, interact and listen to opinions, grasp the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people.
Secretary of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee Dang Khanh Toan commended and acknowledged the great contributions of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province to the province's development in recent times; suggested that in the coming time, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province focus on implementing 6 groups of tasks.
In which, it is proposed that the Provincial Fatherland Front continue to propagate and mobilize people of all walks of life to raise awareness of compliance and good implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State.
Continue to build, consolidate and maintain the Great National Unity bloc, create social consensus; launch many patriotic emulation movements and campaigns for people to participate.
Continue to maintain and replicate models and examples of good people and good deeds in work, labor and study; arouse the desire for development, the spirit of innovation and creativity, mobilize all resources to contribute to the successful implementation of the province's political tasks; develop the economy, improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
Closely coordinate with the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to perform the function of supervising State agencies, elected representatives and State officials. Strengthen information gathering, synthesize legitimate opinions and recommendations of voters and the People.
Carry out well the work of social supervision and criticism; strictly implement the Law on Grassroots Democracy; Grassroots Democracy Regulations in the spirit of "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit".
Organize social security activities well.
Strengthen supervision of religious activities to ensure freedom of belief and religion of dignitaries, monks and nuns and religious people.
Organizing the National Great Unity Day practically, effectively, and in accordance with actual conditions.
Research and innovate the Front's operating methods in the new situation.
