The relief gift boxes were carefully packaged and given to people in flood-affected areas.

Nghia Do Ward has transferred a total of 90 million VND in cash - 30 million VND per commune - along with 175 relief gift boxes including essential necessities such as milk, drinking water, dry food, instant noodles, to people in flood-affected areas.

Speaking at the gift-giving points, comrade Nguyen Hong Son, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Nghia Do Ward, said that in the face of the damage caused by storm No. 11 in the northern provinces and Hanoi , in addition to general support at the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the ward has called on more philanthropists and schools in the area to provide specific support for heavily flooded communes such as Quang Minh, Trung Gia, Da Phuc... This timely and meaningful activity affirms the sharing and closeness of the people of the capital in times of difficulty and calamity.

The gifts not only have material value, but also convey the heart and responsibility of the Party Committee, government, mass organizations and people of Nghia Do ward, contributing to encouraging and supporting people in flood-affected areas to soon stabilize their lives and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

According to a quick report from the City Civil Defense Command, due to the water level of Cau River and Ca Lo River rising above the third alarm level, thousands of households in the above communes were flooded, directly affecting their lives and activities. Although the floodwaters have begun to recede, many households still have to evacuate and continue to face difficulties after the flood.
