Me Tri area (Nam Tu Liem district) has a scale of 55 hectares, with 43.6 hectares belonging to Me Tri ward and 11.4 hectares belonging to Trung Van ward. This area is expected to be the headquarters of 23 agencies.
In Me Tri, only the headquarters of Vietnam Social Security is currently under completion. It is expected that the offices here will be designed to be 17-25 floors high, adjacent to Thang Long Avenue, Cuong Kien Street and Le Quang Dao Street extension. Service buildings are designed to be 3-5 floors high. The basement system will be 2-5 floors, with the 1st and 2nd floors left open to serve as a reception hall and create a pedestrian route.
Most of the land area for the project in Me Tri area is rice fields. Currently, there are still a few households building huts and shacks in this area.
"The government hasn't built yet so we're staying here. We'll leave when they start construction," said a man who has a hut on the land within the project's construction area.
