Based on the plan to support the development of science and technology enterprises (Plan No. 170/KH-UBND dated August 10, 2021 of the City People's Committee) and the Science and Technology Development Fund of enterprises, the Department of Science and Technology organized a meeting with science and technology enterprises in 2024 to accompany and listen to opinions on production and business activities of enterprises, as well as have solutions to support enterprises.

Appraisal of dossiers for 6 enterprises wishing to establish science and technology enterprises; of which, new issuance and amendments were issued to 4 enterprises. Up to now, there are 14 science and technology enterprises in the city; of which there is 1 branch of science and technology enterprise in the fields of agriculture , biotechnology, information technology, and food processing.

The Department of Science and Technology develops a plan to coordinate with the Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises to organize a scientific workshop on "Promoting commercialization of scientific research results and technology development to establish science and technology enterprises" to institutes and schools in the city and provinces of the Mekong Delta to exchange solutions for transferring ownership and rights to use scientific research results and technology development from institutes and schools to establish science and technology enterprises and commercialize products/services.

At the same time, develop content and publish 1,200 handbooks guiding the documents, procedures, and order of establishing science and technology enterprises and science and technology development funds of enterprises to serve organizations operating in science and technology. Enterprises producing and trading products formed from science and technology results are updated with the latest legal information on science and technology enterprises and science and technology development funds of enterprises, mechanisms, preferential policies, and support of the State on tax, land, credit incentives, creating financial sources for investment in science and technology activities in the city; guide 1 enterprise to carry out procedures for establishing a science and technology development fund of the enterprise...
