On the morning of November 26, in Ho Chi Minh City, Tan Cang Logistics Joint Stock Company (KVTC), Corps 20 - Saigon New Port Corporation organized a Golive ceremony for the process of receiving and delivering goods using electronic documents at the CFS warehouse. Lieutenant Colonel Doan Phi, Deputy Director of the Company chaired and directly introduced the Golive process.
Also attending were representatives of the Marketing Department of the Corporation, the Board of Directors of KVTC, Tan Cang Information Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company (TCIS), representatives of the Customs Department and more than 40 Forwarder companies, import-export enterprises and freight forwarding companies.

This event marks an important step in the journey of comprehensive digital transformation of KVTC's freight forwarding activities, towards the goal of 100% digitalization of the freight forwarding process.
The electronic document delivery system was developed by TCIS and applied at the CFS warehouse of Tan Cang Cat Lai port. The system is applied to increase the speed of goods delivery, simplify paperwork, minimize errors and loss of paper documents. The operations of delivery confirmation, packing/withdrawing goods, payment, and document presentation are performed entirely on a digital platform, replacing the previous manual paper process. KVTC is the first unit to apply the electronic document delivery process in the Tan Cang Saigon system.
Import-export businesses and freight forwarding companies can create and confirm goods deliveries online, use digital signatures, receive electronic invoices and track shipment processing status in real time through eWMS electronic warehouse management software.
Previously, when entering the port to deliver or receive goods, drivers had to carry many types of documents and move many steps between departments to complete procedures. Up to now, applying electronic documents will help shorten the time for procedures at the warehouse by at least 30-50%, reducing congestion in the area around the CFS warehouse. In addition, it also minimizes printing and storing paper documents, saves costs, improves data retrieval and smart data management. Ensures transparency and information security thanks to electronic authentication and reconciliation mechanisms.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Doan Phi, Deputy Director of KVTC, said: This solution helps optimize operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and is an important step in building a smart warehouse management model in the Saigon New Port system.
The Golive process of receiving and delivering goods using electronic documents is one of the key projects in KVTC's digital transformation strategy, following the deployment of the Automatic Gate (AutoGate) and previous smart warehouse management solutions. The process of receiving and delivering goods using electronic documents at CFS warehouses, put into operation with the synchronized digital platform from WMSVN and AutoGate, has affirmed KVTC's pioneering role in digital transformation for the Vietnamese logistics industry.
KVTC will continue to develop the eWMS system in the coming time, focusing on upgrading more smart features in the system such as: Shipment tracking, pickup scheduling, AI chat bot and electronic data exchange (EDI) with logistics businesses and shipping agents.
