Due to the impact of storm No. 11, from the evening of October 6 to the early morning of October 7, Cao Bang province experienced heavy to very heavy rain, causing the water level of Bang Giang and Hien rivers to rise rapidly. As of 11am on October 7, the rain had not stopped, water levels continued to rise, and the risk of flooding and landslides was high. The Provincial Civil Defense Command has asked localities to be on standby, warn, and assist people in evacuating when necessary.

Authorities recommend that people do not go through deeply flooded areas, limit travel at night and proactively observe signs of landslides and flash floods to respond promptly.
