The Hoi An Cultural Heritage Management and Conservation Center regularly coordinates with relevant agencies to inspect and monitor the construction, repair, and restoration of residential relics and business order in the Old Quarter. Thereby, 72 violations such as illegal repairs and constructions, without permits, etc. affecting the architecture, landscape, and distorting the value of relics have been prevented and corrected.

Currently, the center is implementing the renovation of the sidewalk space on Nguyen Phuc Chu street; designing roofs and flower trellis models suitable for the relic space in the old quarter; consulting on the plan to renovate the sidewalk from Mang Non Minh An Kindergarten to the front of the City Party Committee headquarters; building a project to manage, preserve and promote the state-owned housing fund in the old quarter, etc.
