Requiem to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Truong Son - Ben Tat Martyrs Memorial Temple

On the afternoon of July 21, at the Truong Son - Ben Tat Martyrs Memorial Temple, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Tri province chaired a memorial service to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27 (1947-2025).

The memorial service is held to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, the nation's outstanding sons who sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. In addition to that meaning, the memorial service also prays for national peace and prosperity, for good things, for peace .

This is also an opportunity for today's generations to demonstrate the tradition of "drinking water, remembering its source" of the Vietnamese people; an opportunity to educate the younger generation about the tradition of patriotism, gratitude for the sacrifices of the heroes and martyrs who fell for independence.

The program took place in a solemn and respectful atmosphere with rituals: chanting prayers for the deceased, offering incense in memory, lighting candles in gratitude...
