Nam Gia Nghia ward was established by merging Nghia Tan ward, Nghia Phu ward and Dak R'moan commune in the former Dak Nong province.
During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the ward led the implementation and achieved and exceeded many important targets in all fields, creating a solid foundation for the emergence and development in the new phase.
The socio-cultural aspects have seen significant progress. The ward has 14 schools from preschool to junior high school, of which 6 schools meet national standards level I and 3 schools meet level II. The ward maintains national standards for community health. By 2025, the number of poor households will be reduced to 35, accounting for 0.26%. The ward has supported the construction and repair of more than 30 houses and donated nearly 10,000 gifts to disadvantaged households with a total value of 6 billion VND.
Significant progress has been made in digital transformation. To date, the ward has completed the goals and tasks of the project "Development of data applications on population, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030". 95% of businesses and service providers have accounts to make cashless payments.
The rate of digitally signing documents (excluding confidential documents) reached over 95%; traceability was applied to agricultural products that met standards… In particular, the ward deployed community digital technology teams in villages, hamlets, and residential areas to support people in carrying out administrative procedures and using other applications in their transactions with the government…
Enhancing leadership capacity and building a strong Party organization.
Recognizing that Party building is crucial, during the past term, the Party Committee of Nam Gia Nghia ward focused on comprehensive leadership and guidance, contributing to enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and its members.
The entire ward organized 72 training sessions to disseminate the Party's directives and resolutions to 5,452 cadres, Party members, and outstanding individuals through various diverse methods. Self-criticism sessions, in accordance with the spirit of Central Resolution 4 (11th, 12th, and 13th Congresses), were closely linked to the implementation of Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo "on promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style."
Party committees at all levels are directing the strict implementation of the Party's regulations on setting an example, focusing on Political Bureau Regulation No. 144 on "Standards of revolutionary ethics for cadres and Party members in the new period," in order to prevent and repel the decline in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle, and the manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party.
The work of consolidating the organization and apparatus, improving the quality of Party organizations, and building a team of pioneering and exemplary Party members to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation has been given attention. The ward Party Committee currently has 16 grassroots Party branches and 22 subordinate Party branches with 838 Party members. During the 2020-2025 period, the entire Party Committee admitted 66 outstanding individuals into the Party, contributing to the rejuvenation and strengthening of the Party. The ward Party Committee implemented many solutions to improve the quality of Party branch activities, especially effectively implementing the "Four Good Party Branch" and "Four Good Grassroots Party Committee" models.
Efforts to strengthen the government and political system have been intensified. The quality of ward People's Council meetings has improved, promptly issuing resolutions that are appropriate to the practical situation, meeting the requirements of development and ensuring national defense and security of the locality.
The government's activities are close and deeply connected to the people, especially after the two-tiered local government model officially came into operation. In particular, administrative procedure reform through the one-stop shop and integrated one-stop shop mechanisms has been implemented decisively and synchronously, with a timely resolution rate of 97%.
The Fatherland Front and political and social organizations and associations in the ward have closely followed political tasks, proactively innovating forms of gathering and mobilizing members and people widely.

Secretary of the Nam Gia Nghia Ward Party Committee, Ngo Duc Trong, affirmed that the First Ward Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, is a political event of special significance, marking a strong transformation of the ward's political system after the administrative unit merger. The Congress is an opportunity to summarize and review the achievements and lessons of the previous term, and to clearly define the vision and key tasks, opening a new phase of development for the locality.
For the 2025-2030 term, Nam Gia Nghia ward aims to continue building a clean, strong, and comprehensive Party committee and political system; to promote the strength of the great national unity, effectively exploit resources for socio-economic development; to ensure national defense and security; and to develop Nam Gia Nghia ward into a civilized, prosperous, and compassionate area, becoming one of the leading units in the province in applying science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
To realize the goals for the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the ward has set forth many key tasks, specifically regarding the development of the service economy and industry linked with high-tech agriculture; promoting digital transformation and building an e-government; improving the quality of social welfare, education, and healthcare; and maintaining political security and social order.
In particular, the locality has identified the focus on building a clean and strong Party organization, coupled with strict implementation of regulations on setting examples and preventing and combating corruption and negative practices.
In addition to its core tasks, the Party Committee of the ward has identified three strategic breakthroughs to focus its leadership and guidance on. These are: promoting comprehensive digital transformation, especially in public administration; developing a team of cadres with innovative thinking, practical skills, and high adaptability; and maximizing the mobilization of resources for investment in the development of a synchronous and modern infrastructure, creating a foundation for attracting investment and improving the lives of the people.

Total budget revenue for the period 2021-2025 is estimated at 2,868 billion VND. The average economic growth rate is 7.07% per year. The economic structure is shifting in a positive direction, with industry and construction accounting for nearly 45%, trade and services 33.98%, and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries 21.5%. The ward has attracted 7 large-scale urban investment projects, which not only open up investment opportunities and infrastructure development but also create jobs and change the urban landscape.
