(Dan Tri) - The banyan tree was personally planted by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in the Huu Nghi international border gate, Lang Son , as a testament to the friendship between the two neighboring countries Vietnam and China.
At the end of August, Huu Nghi International Border Gate (Lang Son province) planted a large banyan tree in the middle of the unit's campus, attracting much attention from customs clearance visitors. It is a banyan tree personally planted by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hung Ba during their visit to Huu Nghi international border gate. The banyan tree represents the friendship between Vietnam and China, and is a testament to the close and close relationship between the two neighboring countries. After the tree was planted, Lang Son province assigned the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board to take care of it. The unit directly taking care of the tree is the Border Gate Management Center. In addition to assigning staff to regularly take care of the tree, the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board also installed a separate camera to monitor, supervise and protect the tree. The Border Management Center also arranges a team to take care of and monitor the "health" of the trees to detect any unusual signs in order to have the earliest treatment plan. After about 4 months of planting, the banyan tree grew well, its roots were deep in the ground, and there were new buds and sprouts. Since the banyan tree was planted, tourists from both countries have had an additional "check-in" spot (photo-taking spot) when going through customs. In the photo, a group of Vietnamese tourists are admiring the beautiful banyan tree planted in the middle of the border gate. "The tree roots are very beautiful. It's not easy to see a banyan tree like this nowadays," said Mr. Le Thanh Bang. Previously, talking with Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hung Ba and representatives of units during a visit to the border gate in August, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong emphasized that in the world there is only one border gate that Vietnam named Huu Nghi and China also agreed to name it "Huu Nghi Quan". Huu Nghi International Border Gate is the connecting point of the Nanning - Hanoi expressway, an important bridge in the development of economic relations between Vietnam and China. The border gate is also the starting point of National Highway 1 (in Dong Dang town, Cao Loc district, Lang Son province), 17km north of Lang Son city, 171km northeast of Hanoi.
