Nhon Ly fishing village (in Quy Nhon Dong ward, Gia Lai province) has long been a favorite destination for those who love to explore and immerse themselves in nature. The summer sunlight shines on the clear water to reveal the unique coral structure, making each cluster of coral glow, creating a rare, shimmering picture.

From March to August is the dry season, the coral reefs at Nhon Ly are exposed right below the water's edge, creating brilliant flower carpets.

The intact, vibrant coral reefs demonstrate the rich marine ecosystem of Nhon Ly sea. And each species of coral has its own role.

Hard coral reefs with unique shapes, including soft corals that curve like soft silk ribbons. Their colors are extremely rich: from blue, orange yellow to purple pink, bright red.

The most special thing about Nhon Ly is the presence of brain coral, a rare species of coral with a concave and convex surface that resembles the folds of the brain. They have existed for hundreds of years, witnessing the ups and downs of the ocean.

Currently, Nhon Ly is still making efforts to preserve and develop, adding awareness to the community and each tourist to preserve these beautiful coral reefs.

Not far south of Nhon Ly, Hon Yen (in O Loan commune, Dak Lak province) possesses vertical stone pillars, precarious bird nests and especially a coral system with a somewhat wild and mysterious beauty.

To get to Hon Yen, visitors often have to travel by basket boat or walk on the road connecting the mainland to the island when the tide is low.

The corals in Hon Yen have a unique feature because they are all very shallow, only about 0.5 - 1m of water. Therefore, visitors do not need to dive deep to admire all of their beauty.

When the tide goes out, the coral reefs rise above the water.

The coral reefs with the shape of deer antlers, spreading canopies or large plates at Hon Yen rise strongly, creating an underwater forest with impressive landscape.

The coral ecosystem at Hon Yen is also the habitat, breeding and feeding place of thousands of marine species, balancing biodiversity.

The beauty of Hon Yen coral is like a "magnet" attracting visitors, especially those who are passionate about photography. However, this uniqueness also makes Hon Yen coral vulnerable when this place is currently being loosely managed. The shallow position of the coral, close to the water surface and easy to touch, puts them at risk of being destroyed.
