Pickleball rackets bring in huge revenue for US manufacturer

(Dan Tri) - The American sports equipment manufacturer Selkirk Sport has just released a report on revenue growth of up to 1,900% in 5 years, leaving the pickleball world overwhelmed.

Pickleball is a popular sport in Vietnam as well as in the world. In the US, it is estimated that there will be about 19.8 million pickleball players in 2024, which is an increase of 45.8% compared to 2023.

The surge in the number of players has also created conditions for the growth of sports equipment companies. According to statistics, as of October 2024, the global pickleball racket market reached $1.5 billion and is expected to increase to $4.4 billion by 2033, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.3%.
