Big shock: Suddenly lost job
Hao Tran - CEO of Vietcetera - an online platform in Vietnam - first talked about his failure at the age of 23. Hao said that in 2015, he was fired from the company and was the only person in the group forced to quit. At that time, he realized that he was the one who had devoted a lot of effort to the company and brought good results but was still fired. It was not fair.
Losing his job has made life difficult for Hao Tran in San Francisco (USA). He has to find ways to pay for electricity, water, and rent every month.
Looking back at the failure 8 years ago, the current CEO of Vietcetera believes that it was a big turning point for him. Thanks to being fired, Hao Tran was determined to try his hand at many different fields without fear of failure. And Vietcetera is the origin of that story.

In 2016, a year after being fired, Hao Tran returned to Vietnam and started his first blog posts on the platform. At the same time, he became a co-owner of a restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City.
Hao Tran is Vietnamese, born and raised in America. Therefore, he always wanted to return and do something in his homeland. Vietcetera is proof of that. Hao Tran wants Vietcetera to help the image of Vietnam become known to many friends around the world .
"What we learn from failure and what we do with that lesson is important. Those are the things that will shape who we become in the future," Hao Tran affirmed.
Attitude at work is very important
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Hao Tran said that failure that year made him depressed for a while and it took a lot of effort to revive his spirit.
Talking about the current situation, when many young people do not know how to appreciate the job they have, he believes that in an era of increasingly developed media, young people are easily influenced by the surrounding environment, thus not clearly defining what is important to them.
According to him, young people should know their strengths in order to maximize their abilities. Each person needs to know what value they can bring to the organization. Focus on results, learn to listen. Young people should find the best person in the field you are pursuing in the organization and learn a lot from that person.
Attitude at work is very important. Despite achieving good results at work, Hao Tran was fired because of his bad attitude 8 years ago. This was a big lesson for him.
Therefore, for young people, he emphasized that they should try to maintain the best attitude when working.
