In the period of 2020 - 2025, from the state budget support from the province and district, the state budget investment from the commune, the funding source and the people's contributions, Ngoc Thanh commune (Kim Dong) invested more than 244 billion VND to build rural infrastructure works including: 24 roads (5 asphalted works, 19 concrete works), 16 schools, 3 cultural houses, 3 medical works, 1 office building. In addition, the people in the commune contributed thousands of working days, donated 2,100 m2 of land and voluntarily dismantled many auxiliary works to expand traffic routes worth about 60 billion VND. In 2023, Ngoc Thanh commune will meet the advanced new rural standards and have 1 village achieving the model new rural residential area.
