USD exchange rate increases at banks, decreases in free market

On June 3, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 24,982 VND/USD, an increase of 12 VND compared to June 2.

With a trading band of ±5% compared to the central rate, the ceiling rate applied is 26,231 VND/USD and the floor rate is 23,733 VND/USD.

The reference exchange rate at the State Bank of Vietnam is 23,772 VND/USD for buying and 26,168 VND/USD for selling.

This afternoon, BIDV Bank announced the exchange rate at 25,870-26,230 (buy - sell), an increase of 50 VND in both directions compared to June 2.

Also increasing, at Vietcombank , the buying and selling rates are 25,840 - 26,230, an increase of 30 VND compared to June 2.

Updated at 4:45 p.m., the exchange rate at VietinBank is 25,870 - 26,230 (buy - sell), up 175 VND for buying, up 25 VND for selling

Meanwhile, in the free market, the USD exchange rate is traded at 26,230 - 26,330 VND, both down 30 VND compared to June 2.
