Organizing a scientific workshop "Innovation in communication activities of policies and laws on culture, sports and tourism to meet the requirements of digital transformation"

On June 4, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Phan Tam signed and issued Decision No. 1689/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing a scientific workshop on the ministerial-level science and technology topic in 2024-2025 "Innovation in communication activities on policies and laws on culture, sports and tourism".

The workshop aims to study and improve the quality of policy communication in the fields of culture, sports and tourism. Along with that, exchange and discuss information on some basic and important contents of the Project, thereby assessing the current situation and methods of policy and legal communication, clarifying factors affecting policy and legal communication activities, trends of policy and legal communication activities and proposing solutions to innovate policy and legal communication activities on culture, sports and tourism from a scientific and communication perspective, contributing to the completion of the Research Report of the Project.

Attending the Workshop, managers, experts, scientists in the fields of culture, sports and tourism, law, press and media will exchange, discuss and give direct comments on the completion of the draft report synthesizing the topic on: contents related to the theoretical framework of policy communication work; the current status of cultural, sports and tourism policy communication work approached from different perspectives such as: policy communication methods; the impact of social networks, digital transformation on policy communication activities in the fields of culture, sports and tourism; cultural, sports and tourism policy communication for ethnic minorities; policy communication in specific fields; policy communication in some localities; solutions to innovate cultural, sports and tourism policy communication activities.

The workshop is expected to be held in Hanoi in June 2025 with the participation of a number of state management advisory agencies under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Department of Science, Technology, Training and Environment; Department of Press; Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information; Department of Grassroots Information and Foreign Information...); the Ministry of Justice and a number of relevant ministries and branches; a number of Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Tourism; legal and media experts and a number of organizations and individuals who are the subjects of policy and legal communication activities in the fields of culture, sports and tourism./.
