Closing ceremony of the 4th Festival of Outstanding Cultural Families of Ethnic Groups in Lam Dong Province

The festival commended and honored 10 typical cultural families in the movement to build cultural, prosperous, progressive and happy families, with the participation of nearly 100 members of 3 generations in the family representing ethnic groups from 10 districts and cities in the province.

After the launching ceremony of the National Action Month for Domestic Violence Prevention and Control and the opening of the Festival, many exciting activities took place such as the parade of propaganda vehicles, visits and gift giving to disadvantaged families in Don Duong district, the Warm and Loving Family Meal Cooking Contest, the Folk Song and Traditional Costume Performance Contest, and the Healthy Family Folk Game Contest. The Festival left many good impressions and memories with the participating families.

In his closing remarks at the Festival, Mr. Hoang Manh Tien - Director of the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts emphasized: The Festival's activities aim to honor the fine traditional cultural values ​​of Vietnamese families, creating opportunities for typical cultural families in the province to meet, exchange, learn, and share experiences in building a happy family life. From there, spread the fine traditional ethical standards of Vietnamese families to the masses about the role and position of the family.

The festival also showed that the family is the place to preserve and conserve the traditional cultural values ​​of the nation and is the place to nurture and shape each person's personality.

Awarding prizes to families

The Organizing Committee of the Festival awarded 55 prizes in all competitions and activities of the Festival to families, outstanding members and 2 subsidiary prizes for the oldest and youngest members. Of which, 10 A prizes, 10 B prizes for folk singing and traditional costume performances; 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 4 consolation prizes for the cooking competition; 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 16 consolation prizes for sports and folk games.
