Don Duong: Presenting 8 Great Solidarity houses to ethnic minority households

(LĐ online) - On June 6, in Ka Do commune, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Don Duong district coordinated with relevant parties to present 8 solidarity houses to 8 ethnic minority families who are near-poor and have difficulty in housing.

Handing over Great Unity houses to households

This is the result of joint efforts from all levels and sectors, especially financial support from Lam Dong Provincial Lottery Company and enthusiastic help from the community.

Previously, these households, mostly landless and working as hired laborers with unstable jobs, faced difficult lives with insufficient income. Family members lived in dilapidated houses, affecting the quality of daily life.

With special attention from all levels and sectors, each household was supported by Lam Dong Provincial Lottery Company with 60 million VND to build a new house. A total of 480 million VND was supported through the District and Commune Fatherland Front . Not only that, the golden hearts of relatives and family members also joined hands to contribute by supporting materials and construction costs, making the dream of a warm home come true.

Under the close encouragement of authorities at all levels, along with enthusiastic support from organizations and individuals, after only nearly 2 months of urgent construction, 8 houses were completed and handed over to households.

The donation of Great Unity houses not only provides stable housing for people but also demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, and noble gesture of the community, lighting up the flame of hope and belief in a better future for households facing many difficulties in Don Duong district.
