Over the past 30 years, since its establishment, Tay Ho district has grown to become the service, tourism and cultural center of Hanoi. The economic , cultural and social achievements of Tay Ho district have been greatly contributed by artists - those who have expressed their love for Tay Ho district through songs. Each song is a perspective, a story about Tay Ho, expressing the aspirations of Tay Ho - the land of talented people of the thousand-year-old capital Hanoi.
The Organizing Committee of the Songwriting Contest about Tay Ho District said that the contest received 41 songs from authors from all over the country. Through the preliminary and final rounds, the Jury selected 11 best songs to submit to the Organizing Committee for consideration and recognition of awards; including 4 Second prizes (no First prize) and 7 Third prizes.
The song "Oi con song phuc Tay Ho" by musician Dinh Nghi - former Head of Lam Dong Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe, State Prize for Literature and Arts in 2022, won Third Prize of the competition.
