According to information from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 7, most areas across the country will have a tendency to be hot and sunny, with localized thunderstorms occurring in the late afternoon and at night.
In particular, the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen is hot, some places are extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius.
The Northern Delta and midland areas are hot with the highest temperature commonly 35-36 degrees Celsius, some places above 36 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity commonly 55-60%.
Due to the effects of heat and intense heat combined with low humidity in the air, there is a high risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity and the risk of forest fires.
In addition, heat can also cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke to the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time. In addition, in the evening and at night, many areas have heavy local rain, such as: mountainous areas and midlands of the North; South Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions; Ha Giang province; so there is a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
At sea, on the day and night of June 7, the Central and Southern East Sea (including the waters of the Truong Sa archipelago), the waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to Kien Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind of level 6-7 and waves over 2m high. All vessels operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
