From June 7 to 9, construction on Le Thanh Ton Street, Nha Trang City will be temporarily suspended.

The Nha Trang City Construction Project Management Board has just sent a report to the City People's Committee on the progress of the Project to Upgrade and Renovate Sidewalks and Build New Underground Infrastructure Works for Shared Use on Le Thanh Ton Street (abbreviated as the Project to Upgrade and Renovate Le Thanh Ton Street). Accordingly, from June 7 to 9, the project will be temporarily suspended to ensure traffic safety and urban aesthetics during the 2025 Sea Culture and Tourism Festival.

According to the report, the Le Thanh Ton Street Upgrading and Renovation Project starts at the roundabout and ends at the intersection with Tran Phu Street. The project will build underground technical infrastructure works that are shared with the main items, such as: Construction of thin-walled concrete trenches under the road and sewer systems, technical pits on the sidewalk; upgrading and renovating granite sidewalks; repairing drainage systems...

Construction on Le Thanh Ton Street has been temporarily suspended to serve festival activities.

On February 14, the Nha Trang City Construction Project Management Board handed over the construction site to the contractor, Khanh Anh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, with a construction period of 180 days. Up to now, the contractor has completed the underground infrastructure of cable pipes and technical pits on the sidewalk on the left side of the route and is constructing the pavement and sidewalks. The technical trenches under the road have been constructed about 15%. Speeding up the construction progress is difficult because during the construction of underground infrastructure items, the coordination of many units is required such as Khanh Hoa Electricity Joint Stock Company, network operators VNPT, Mobifone , FPT, Viettel, ... to deploy the synchronous underground cable pipe laying to avoid multiple excavations and installations.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Danh - Director of the Nha Trang City Construction Project Management Board said that the unit has requested the contractor to urgently complete and restore the sidewalks and technical trenches on the roadway under construction; clean up debris and materials neatly, ensure aesthetics, fences, and install warning lights to ensure safety during the 2025 Sea Culture and Tourism Festival. At the same time, temporarily suspend construction from June 7 to June 9 (the days of the main activities of the 2025 Sea Culture and Tourism Festival); arrange traffic controllers to ensure traffic safety.

On June 5, the Nha Trang City Construction Project Management Board sent a document to the contractor and the supervising consultant requesting that during the construction and cleanup process, excavated sand must not be transported out of the construction site. The contractor must develop a construction organization and management plan for the volume of excavated sand for approval by the competent authority. The contractor and supervising consultant will inspect, strictly implement and be fully responsible before the law if sand is transported out of the construction site.
