The Secretariat reviews and disciplines party members who violate the law.

On June 6, 2025, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, after considering the proposal of the Central Inspection Committee on disciplining violating party members, the Secretariat found that:

Comrades: Tran Ngoc Thuan, former member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, former Secretary of the Party Committee, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; Vo Van Chanh, former member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province; Nguyen Van Tien, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Hau Giang province, have degraded in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, public outrage, and very bad effects on the reputation of the Party organization, local government, and working agencies and units.

Based on the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; according to the Party's regulations on disciplining violating Party members, the Secretariat decided to implement the disciplinary action of expelling from the Party the following comrades: Tran Ngoc Thuan, Vo Van Chanh, and Nguyen Van Tien.

Propose that competent authorities promptly enforce administrative discipline in line with party discipline.
