Over the past 5 years, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Organizing Committee of the 02-city Project and the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City have focused on leading and directing the entire political system to implement the project in conjunction with the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security, and the criteria of model new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
The city has achieved 10/14 targets of the project, notably: 100% of households use clean water; 100% of communes and wards have doctors; 100% of agencies and 82% of enterprises have registered to meet cultural standards; 100% of canals and streams have been cleared; 100% of traditional markets have been renovated, 99.07% of solid waste has been collected and treated; 81% of roads and alleys managed by communes and wards have been paved with asphalt or concrete; 7/10 wards have met urban civilization standards, 2 communes have been recognized as model new rural areas...
In addition, many typical models have been effectively organized and implemented, creating widespread influence such as: "Civilized street", "Turning landfill into flower garden", "Panel and mural street", "Electric poles blooming", "Women cultivating the future - for the benefit of ten years of planting trees, for the benefit of a hundred years of cultivating people", "Humane Tet", "Zero-dong market", "3 no - 4 good - 5 exemplary", "Restaurants ensuring food hygiene and safety", "Green, clean, beautiful, safe school gates"...
At the conference, representatives of units and localities spoke to clarify the achieved results, and at the same time shared experiences, good models, and effective methods in the process of implementing the project.
On this occasion, Tan Uyen City People's Committee awarded 12 collectives and 22 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the project.
