Trieu Thi Y., the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thinh - Sinh, has been serving a 4-year sentence for organizing illegal drug use. Y. burst into tears when she saw the image of her parents in the dilapidated wooden house in the middle of the hill. The wooden walls were still cracked in many places, the warm fire in the middle of the house was still there. Only the two of them remained, without Yen.
Tears rolled down her cheeks, washing away two hastily applied traces of powder.
In the clip of Yen's parents talking to each other in Dao, she choked up and translated into Vietnamese: "There are still two cows, should we sell them to get money to visit her (Yen)? - No, cows are very cheap, I don't know if we have enough money to go? Or should we raise them so that when they come back, we have a little money to do business?".

Hundreds of prisoners present at the program “Lighting up the dream of rehabilitation” are prisoners who have performed well. Everyone has the dream of returning to their families and society soon.
Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Trong Tuan - Deputy Warden of Quyet Tien Prison (Department C10, Ministry of Public Security ) - said that to help prisoners reform and reintegrate into the community after completing their sentences, the prison focuses on organizing labor and career guidance.
The prison has partnered with local companies and businesses to provide work and vocational training opportunities for inmates. This activity helps inmates improve their skills, gain experience, and prepare for life after serving their sentences.
Participating in labor not only helps improve life but also creates confidence and readiness to integrate into society.
In particular, Quyet Tien Prison is one of the few prisons with a library. This library was mobilized and donated by the Youth Union members of Tuoi Tre Newspaper. The library has nearly 1,000 books, helping prisoners calm down, improve their lives, and broaden their knowledge, creating a foundation for their future reintegration into the community.
