Rating MU after winning Liverpool

On the night of October 19, Bryan Mbeumo and Harry Maguire received the highest scores when MU defeated Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield in round 8 of the Premier League.

Senne Lammens – 7/10: Smartly saved Alexander Isak’s shot in the first half. Although he couldn’t prevent the goal, Lammens still showed composure and sharp reflexes.

Matthijs de Ligt – 7/10: Another excellent performance from De Ligt. Few touches but always in the right position and solid in defence.

Harry Maguire – 9/10: Dominated the aerial duels and scored the decisive goal against Liverpool. The England centre-back deserved credit for his game-winning strike.

Luke Shaw – 7/10: Although he has not reached his best physical condition and form, Shaw still made important interceptions to help limit Liverpool's attack.

Diogo Dalot – 6/10: Had an unsuccessful shot, and made no mistake when facing Mohamed Salah.

Amad Diallo – 8/10: Was a threat on the right flank and linked up well with Bryan Mbeumo.

Casemiro – 7/10: Solid in midfield, won 5 duels before receiving a yellow card for a tactical foul on Salah.

Bruno Fernandes – 7/10: Excellent pass to Diallo for the opener, assisted Maguire, but lost possession a couple of times in the second half.

Mason Mount – 5/10: Failed to capitalize on Giorgi Mamardashvili’s missed shot, going over the bar. Mount had an ineffective day.

Bryan Mbeumo – 9/10: Excellent goal with some clever running. The Cameroonian maintained the tempo of the game very well, causing problems for Liverpool’s defence.

Matheus Cunha – 7/10: Working hard and controlling the ball intelligently helped MU maintain their advantage at the end of the match.

Benjamin Sesko – 5/10: Seemed overwhelmed by the atmosphere of the match and couldn't show much.

Manuel Ugarte – 4/10: Replaced Casemiro but played poorly, contributing little to the team's play.

Patrick Dorgu – 5/10: Made a positional error as Cody Gakpo scored Liverpool's equaliser to make it 1-1.

Leny Yoro & Kobbie Mainoo: Came in late so not scored.
