Fostering rural industrial products

Implementing Plan No. 12/KH-UBND dated January 19, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing the voting for typical rural industrial products of Tuyen Quang province in 2024, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with the People's Committees of districts and cities to propagate, mobilize, and guide rural industrial establishments in the area to register to participate in the voting in accordance with regulations.

The Provincial Industrial Promotion Center coordinated with the Economic Infrastructure Department of Son Duong district to work with establishments that registered to participate in voting for typical rural industrial products.

Products participating in the voting are industrial and handicraft products of small and medium enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups, and business households established and operating under the provisions of law in the province. The products do not violate regulations on intellectual property rights, industrial property rights and other regulations related to standards and regulations on quality, labor safety, labor hygiene, food safety and environmental protection. The products must be capable of mass production in large quantities, not be unique products, and meet market demand. The products are divided into 4 groups: Handicrafts; processing of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products; equipment, machinery, tools and mechanical spare parts and other products.

After meeting the above criteria, districts and cities will compile and send a request document with a list of eligible products to register to participate in the area to the Department of Industry and Trade before April 25, 2024. The registration dossier includes: 1 registration form to participate in voting for products of rural industrial establishments with a valid copy of one of the following documents: Certificate of enterprise registration, Certificate of business registration, Certificate of cooperative registration, Certificate of household business registration or other documents of equivalent legal value; 2 explanatory and descriptive copies of the product registered for voting with at least 3 color photos, size (10 x 15cm) of the product taken at different angles (front, sides, from top to bottom); 3 valid copies of other documents with legal value related to the product (if any) such as: Certificate, certification of product quality standards; Certificate of food safety qualified facility; Certificate of merit, certificate of merit for the product; environmental records approved by competent authorities according to current regulations and other relevant documents. In addition to the above records, the participating unit must send the registered product to the location and time as instructed by the voting council.

From the results of the voting for typical rural industrial products, rural industrial establishments with recognized products will enjoy the following benefits: Being awarded 1 certificate, 1 commemorative medal and 4 million VND/1 recognized product; being allowed to print or label the logo of the provincial typical rural industrial product voting program on the product or packaging of the recognized product; being provided with information, advice and guidance on accessing preferential policies and support from the State; consulting on investment projects to expand production and develop typical rural industrial products; being given priority in considering support from national and local industrial promotion funds to: build technical demonstration models, transfer technology and apply advanced machinery, scientific and technical advances to product production; participate in fairs, exhibitions, trade promotion, product introduction; build and register trademarks; Build an electronic information page, website of the facility and other priority and support contents to develop typical rural industrial products; have information about the products published on local media; participate in the selection of typical rural industrial products at the regional level according to regulations.
