These are mysterious forces that scientists have yet to observe. The satellite carries the Euclid telescope, named after the ancient Greek mathematician.
After being launched into space, the satellite began a month-long journey to a position in the Sun's orbit, nearly 1.6 million kilometers from Earth. From this position, Euclid will carry out a mission lasting at least 6 years to explore the evolution of the dark universe and observe galaxies up to 10 billion light years away.
