Coach Frank Lampard has returned to Chelsea as interim manager.
The young English strategist did not start smoothly when The Blues lost to Wolves last weekend, but he will have a chance to make a better mark tomorrow morning when Chelsea visit Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Lampard was delighted to confirm he will have almost a full squad for the match at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Asked about Thiago Silva, Mason Mount and N'Golo Kante, Lampard confirmed all three could play against Madrid.
"They're all fit, they're all with the team. They're in good health," said Lampard.
Lampard added on Kante's return, and why he believes the Frenchman can hit top form straight away.
"I think Kante is a special player. I know the difficulties Kante has had recently with injuries, but when he comes back he will be in really good form, I have seen him do that."
"Kante did it in the Super Cup against Liverpool a few years ago. He passed the fitness test, hadn't played for a long time and he was the best player on the pitch for 120 minutes. Kante has the ability to do that because he is a special player."
"We miss Kante as a club, we miss him because he's a good player so the fact that he's definitely back is positive news."
