As Lunar New Year 2024 approaches, people have flocked to shopping malls and supermarkets in Hanoi to shop. As every year, imported wine, coffee, and confectionery products are consumed in huge quantities.

Recorded on the evening of February 4 (December 25) at Lotte Mall Tay Ho shopping center, thousands of people flocked here to shop for Tet.
According to observations, the areas with the most shoppers are the candy, beer and wine stalls.
Although this is a shopping mall with quite wide aisles, people still have to move step by step and weave their way through during peak shopping hours.
To stimulate market demand, many major brands have launched discount promotions.
The dragon mascot of 2024 is accompanied by bottles of wine.
Most people choose to buy candy, beer and nuts to serve their Tet needs.
The food court at Lotte Mall Tay Ho is almost full.
Previously, on the afternoon of February 3 at Big C Thang Long supermarket, all the stalls were packed with customers.
Children sweat and look tired from jostling while shopping.
To meet the increased demand near Tet, this supermarket opens until 10:30 p.m., 30 minutes longer than usual.
Supermarket staff continuously replenish goods on shelves, especially cakes, candies, and jams for Tet.
According to records at 3 p.m., more than 20 payment counters were operating at full capacity. Customers had to wait in line for about 30 minutes for their turn.
The parking area on the first floor is full, people have to go up to the second floor, the ticket return point is congested for a long time.
