In Phuoc Hai town (Long Dat district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), the Youth Union of the 129th Naval Squadron participated in the launching ceremony of the volunteer campaign "Green March" in 2025 organized by the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Youth Union. The campaign focuses on activities such as: contributing to the construction of new rural areas, protecting the environment, promoting anti-IUU fishing, accompanying fishermen at sea, giving gifts to families with meritorious services, and renovating memorial houses in the area.
At the ceremony, Squadron 129 presented 50 life jackets and 100 national flags to fishermen of Phuoc Hai town.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the youth union members of Squadron 129 coordinated with local forces to clean up and collect trash at Phuoc Hai beach.
On the same day, in Long Dat district, members of the 171st Naval Brigade continued to respond to the program "Let's clean the sea" by collecting, classifying and treating coastal waste.
In recent days, due to the impact of heavy rain and strong winds, a large amount of garbage and water hyacinth have washed ashore in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. The joint efforts of union members and young people have contributed to cleaning up dozens of tons of garbage, returning a green - clean - beautiful landscape to coastal tourist destinations such as Long Hai and Phuoc Hai.

The forces participated in cleaning, collecting and cleaning the beach of Phuoc Hai town, Long Dat district. Recently, the coastal area of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has had heavy rain, waves and strong winds, causing a large amount of waste and water hyacinth to drift ashore in localities in the province. With the positivity and initiative of union members and young people in the province, in recent days, dozens of tons of waste have been collected, processed and classified by young people, helping the marine environment in localities, especially famous tourist destinations such as Vung Tau, Long Hai, Phuoc Hai become cleaner and more beautiful.

From June 1 to 8, in Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa Province), the Naval Academy also organized activities in response to Vietnam Sea and Islands Week and World Oceans Day (June 8). Units in the academy simultaneously organized cleaning at Bach Dang Park, the wharf area, the beach, and plastic waste treatment, while organizing competitions to learn about and discuss topics such as "Today's Ocean, Tomorrow's World".
Propaganda content on protecting the marine and island environment is also integrated into lectures at the Academy, contributing to raising students' awareness and responsibility for protecting the sacred sovereignty and marine and island environment of the Fatherland.
