The Hai Phong City Civil Defense Command has just issued Document No. 454/TB on lifting the ban on activities on river mouths and seaports in areas of Hai Phong City.

Accordingly, the ban on the operation of the Cat Hai - Phu Long cable car route, ferries, and bridges will be lifted from 7:00 a.m. on August 19, 2025.

Ships going out to sea, exploitation, aquaculture, fishing and other activities in estuaries, coastal areas, offshore, tourism and entertainment activities in sea and island areas are allowed to resume operations from 10:00 a.m. on August 19, 2025.

Previously, on August 18, 2025, the Hai Phong City Civil Defense Command issued Notice No. 450/TB prohibiting activities on river mouths and seaports throughout the city from 2:00 p.m. on August 18, 2025 to prevent tropical depression.
