Choosing a contractor to build a bus station worth over 900 billion VND in Da Lat

On August 2, Lam Dong Department of Transport announced that it has just approved the task outline - survey estimate, prepared a report to propose investment policy and plan to select a contractor for the project to invest in building a parking lot combined with a bus station at Darahoa intersection.

Two bus stations on National Highway 20 and National Highway 27, about 10km from Da Lat city center.

Accordingly, this bus station is located in Da Sar commune (Lac Duong district, Lam Dong province), the area of ​​​​Darahoa intersection connecting National Highway 27C, located in part of sub-area 144A, Da Sar commune, Lac Duong district. The project has a scale of 36.6 hectares, serving about 817 bus parking spaces, 83 small bus parking spaces, 60 taxi and car parking spaces and about 34.7 thousand people.

This project with a total investment of over 910 billion VND was assigned by Lam Dong Department of Transport to the Road Maintenance Management Board, responsible for organizing and managing the investment project, managing investment costs, and selecting contractors in accordance with current regulations.

This is one of two parking lots and bus stations in the suburbs of Da Lat city approved for detailed planning by Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.

In addition to the Darahoa intersection area, there is also a parking lot at the beginning of Prenn Pass to accommodate more than 2,000 parking spaces of all types.

Building two gateway bus stations to Da Lat will maximally solve the traffic congestion in the inner city.

According to the planning of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the parking lot at the beginning of Prenn Pass has a scale of 38.2 hectares, located in Ward 3, Da Lat City and Hiep An Commune, Duc Trong District, adjacent to National Highway 20. This parking lot has a scale of serving about 790 buses, 122 parking spaces for small buses, 200 parking spaces for taxis, cars and about 33.8 thousand people.

According to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, both parking lots are located at the main gateway to Da Lat City, about 10km from the city center. Therefore, the planning of the two parking lots aims to form urban utilities, contribute to improving the social infrastructure system, reduce the number of motor vehicles entering the center of Da Lat City and create a legal basis to call for investment in project construction.
